Time for a break but we will be back in September!

The times they are a-changin’.

This post seems to be older than 3 years—a long time on the internet. It might be outdated.

We are going to have a break for the summer and hope you all have lots of fun spending time with your families. We will return the first week you are back at school and will be sending out details about the new season of Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

This year has been so much fun. We started with a residential training weekend in Langdale with the Silver and Gold groups which snowed us in but was great for training.

We then had a Bronze training weekend in February which turned into two weekends because I was ill (I am never ill, so I am blaming the young people).

We had a Bronze practice in March in Lancashire.

We had a Silver and Gold practice in the Lake District in April.

We had a Bronze Qualifying expedition in April in West Lancs.

We had a Silver Qualifier in May in Yorkshire Dales.

We are going to Scotland and the Isle of Arran for the Gold Qualifying expedition in July.

This has been a great effort from all the participants and volunteers. Well done and thank you!

The Wednesday Club has been well attended by years 7, 8 9 and 10 and hopefully in the new school year we will have even more on offer. We are planing on having a Jamming session, knitting clubs, drama clubs, karaoke sessions, competitions and much, much more.

Keep checking our website for more information.
