As it is a training weekend but a mostly indoor training weekend, they do not need to bring a sleeping bag. There will be beds and bedding supplied.

We will supply items/food for meals, but we will not be cooking them. They will have to cook for themselves. If they have any dietary requirements or allergies, please email Mike ([email protected]). There will be limited access to shops, so we suggest they bring sweets etc.

Could you ensure that your young person brings the following:

Wash kit (including towels)

Torch (inc spare batteries)

Walking boots

Walking socks

Walking trousers (or similar)

Wet weather gear (trousers and coat)

Enough clothes for three days

Personal medical kit (first aid kit)

Any medications they are required to take (inhalers etc)

Notepad and pen

Sleeping bag

A full kit list for expeditions can be found here

Please be advise that the insurance only covers the young people and not any expensive electrical items. They are fine to bring them but at their own risk.
