Amplify Open Days 21st & 22nd January 2015

We are looking for some new volunteers to help with two sessions each week. The first session is on a Wednesday from 3.15pm until 5.15pm. This is aimed at high school children from years 7 through to 11. It is generally run as a youth club and we need adults to monitor and assist the young people with computers, tuck and other requests. This is a very easy session.
The second session we run is on a Thursday evening from 6.30pm until 9.00pm. This is a Duke of Edinburgh award session. We are currently helping over 40 young people gain their bronze, silver and gold awards. This is a more structured session and as such means more contact with the young people.
We do have a safeguarding system in place and as such you would not be able to volunteer until you have a DBS in place and have met with the Youth Committee. We pay for the DBS!
